Our world has changed – but many recruitment methods have stayed the same. What does a reimagined job search experience that best serves Gen Z talent and the employers recruiting them look like?

According to a recent RippleMatch survey of 3,500 Gen Z candidates, the No. 1 and No. 2 challenge facing Gen Z students is: 1) Knowing which companies are hiring amidst layoffs and 2) Finding a job or internship that is the right fit for interests and skill sets. In this survey, we also uncovered that Gen Z candidates are opting for virtual events over in-person ones, are leveraging career services less than ever, and are still fairly open to reneging on offers. From these stats, it's clear that the status quo of the job search process isn't fully serving Gen Z or the companies recruiting them.

For our latest #GenZSpeaks panel, RippleMatch is excited to bring together 5 Gen Z students to discuss their biggest pain points within their job search, as well as how they'd like to connect with recruiters most. Attendees can expect to learn how Gen Z is discovering opportunities and evaluating offers, bridging the gap between how talent teams are approaching candidate experience and what candidates want most.
