The program commences with a week-long, in person orientation conference including a newly implemented event app, enriching the immersive experience. Orientation spans impactful leadership sessions, case competitions and networking, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The internship culminates with a national Intern Sales Challenge, a prospect role-play competition. Interns are guided by a robust mentoring program emphasizing "learning through doing." Mid and end-of-summer reviews complement the approach, providing consistent feedback around career expectations and opportunities. Interns conclude the summer well-prepared to navigate their career journey with valuable insights, diverse experiences, and professional confidence.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

Gallagher's commitment to the retention and success of entry-level talent is exemplified by the Gallagher Career Associate Program (GCAP). This industry leading, 2.5 year sales development program provides a clear path to leadership. Consisting of majority former interns, GCAP accelerates sales success. The program blends on-the-job training, traditional curriculum, and experiential learning competitions and coaching. Participants tackle team projects, prospecting competitions, and client strategy plans incorporating consistent feedback from executive and branch leadership. With participants across three concurrent cohorts, GCAP facilitates collaboration across divisions to cultivate professional relationships and generate business opportunities. The program's four in-person conferences foster networking and expose participants to executives, foundational sales techniques, and professional development. GCAP launches dynamic careers, contributing to the sustained success of entry-level hires at Gallagher.
