Erica is the Campus Program Manager at Apex Fintech Solutions. In her role, she leads the recruitment efforts for interns and new college grads. She proudly oversees the summer intern program and has recently been tasked with improving Apex's Employer Branding. Before her role at Apex, Erica managed Campus Engagement at Roku and new college grad recruitment at EY. As a first-generation college grad, Erica has experienced firsthand how someone's first job not only projects the student into success but also breaks decades of generational poverty. This is why she is passionate about Early Careers and providing equitable opportunities for everyone.
Career Highlight
"This spring, I launched our first-ever new college grad Zine as a part of our keep-warm strategy. I created a new issue every month and discussed various topics relevant to new hires. For example, we provided information about Austin, housing recommendations, early career tips, and a GTKYC (get to know your cohort) section where each new hire gets a page to discuss themselves and showcase their pets, family, and friends. Our ALDP Zine is college-themed with bright colors and sent via Issu. I wanted it to feel real, and a PDF wasn't going to cut it. On occasion, I also leveraged ChatGPT to help with when I had writer's block. Who would have known it knows so much about Austin BBQ?!?"
