The recruiting team at Endress+Hauser partners with several high schools, trade schools, community colleges, and universities to attract superior early career talent. Workforce development and talent acquisition efforts include conducting info sessions on campus, company tours, sponsoring senior projects, and in-person classroom presentations at select schools. For the last two years, Endress+Hauser has recruited at the Society for Women Engineering (SWE) national conference and career fair. Once students connect with the team at Endress+Hauser, it is a priority to provide transparent and frequent communication. Whether virtual or in-person, the recruitment process consists of learning about career opportunities from those all over the company. This interaction with company employees ensures candidates have a strong understanding of the position or program of interest, and to have the best candidate experience possible.

The early career recruiting team at Endress+Hauser understands that having a diverse workforce is vital to growth and success of the company. That’s why the company recruits from all 50 states and is open to building its network of partner schools across the country. To build that diverse candidate pool, the team recruits at public and private universities, large and small schools, and trade schools and community colleges and universities. To reach and hire students from all across the country, Endress+Hauser offers a relocation package for interns and new graduates. Once they’ve joined the team, new employees are eligible to participate in mentorship, development, and leadership programs.

At Endress+Hauser, high school and college interns are given significant projects that contribute to real business outcomes, in addition to an inclusive, friendly experience. With the in-office internship program in several states, interns have the chance to gain real-world experience with the benefits of a family-owned company with strong values. Interns are provided with a mentor and frequent touch-ins, to make the most of their summer experience. The interns immerse themselves into a team and build lasting relationships with peers and employees. As their projects wrap up, the interns share their final presentations to business leaders and peers. These components are part of Endress+Hauser’s significant investment in early career talent, leading to a 90% intern return offer rate.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

Endress+Hauser goes above and beyond to set up new full-time hires for long-term success at the company. Starting with a robust onboarding at national headquarters, entry-level hires are provided on-the-job training, a network of mentors and colleagues, and a solid foundation for career development and success at the company. For the first 6-9 months, new hires participate in a rotational development program with rotations throughout different areas of the business to learn what suits them best. Getting to travel around the country, work with the company’s close business partners to further understand the business, and professional mentorship are a few of the perks of employment.
