Elizabeth Diley leads campus recruiting at General Mills, one of the largest food manufacturers in the world. General Mills is home to beloved brands like Cheerios, Yoplait, and Betty Crocker. In her role, she is responsible for all campus recruiting activity and strategy, university relationships, and designing and implementing their award winning summer internship program. Elizabeth and her team are committed to finding, attracting, and converting top early career talent across the US while championing diversity and inclusion efforts. Elizabeth's heart is in talent, during her career she has held recruiting and internal staffing roles.

Career Highlight

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the country shut down, but Elizabeth and her team didn’t. It became apparent that their extremely important and highly sought-after summer internship program would have to shift. There was not a moment she felt that cancelling the internship was an option. In 2 weeks time Elizabeth had a plan and created and pitched a new internship program for General Mills. By acting boldly and moving quickly GMI led the nation in converting their internship to an all-virtual experience, bringing value to the business and students and maintaining an important talent pipeline.
