Ed Veloz Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, TD Bank
As Head of Recruiting for TD Securities in the US Ed is responsible for establishing strategy and overseeing Early Talent and Lateral Recruiting in TD Securities locations in the US. Ed joined TD in 2014 from Dow Jones, where he served as the Campus & Communities Recruiting Lead. Ed started his career at Morgan Stanley and spent 7 years in their Early Talent team. Ed graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Career Highlight
Ed's proudest moment in his Early Talent career has been rolling out the TD Launch program in 2021. This 9 week virtual financial services boot camp program was created to help diverse candidates prepare for the 2022 intern interview process as well as the intern program itself. This program is very near and dear to Ed personally. As a first generation college student, he knows the lack of access and opportunity that first generation students face, and through this program TD is doing its part to even the playing field.
