DJ Bridges is a Team Leader at Rock Central, a Detroit-based professional services company serving the businesses that make up the Rock Family of Companies. In his role, DJ leads recruiting efforts at more than 65 colleges and universities across the United States and Canada. His team recruits diverse top talent by building and maintaining relationships with external partners and universities. DJ has worked for the Rock Family of Companies for seven years. He’s invested in fostering an inclusive environment and being innovative in the HBCU and student athlete space. He’s always working to raise the bar on the campus recruiting efforts at Rock Central!

Career Highlight

When the Rock Family of Companies pledged to hiring 10% of our 500 summer 2021 interns from HBCUs, DJ was “all in” from day one. He created strategic recruitment and engagement plans, leveraged all of his relationships and inspired fellow team members with his contagious energy and determination. To enhance these efforts, DJ developed, launched and hosted Rock Central's inaugural Rocket Mortgage Leadership Conference for HomeFree-USA HBCU scholars. DJ followed up with over 900+ HBCU students to ensure candidates were paired with potential opportunities. The team exceeded its HBCU hiring goal by 20%!
