Devin Barnas - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award

Devin Barnas is a Senior Campus Recruiter at PEAK6 Investments. He is responsible for managing the university talent team and strategy in order to grow the PEAK6 businesses. Prior to joining PEAK6, Devin worked in public accounting for seven years. He discovered his passion for college recruiting when asked to help grow the firm's campus program. Developing relationships with eager students and helping them find the right career fit via a positive candidate experience prompted Devin to transition to a career in talent development. Devin is an inclusive team player and loves university recruiting.

Career Highlight

When prompted with a first ever virtual recruiting season and remote internship program to run in 2020, Devin along with his team at PEAK6 went from knowing "not what to do" to "learning an even better way". They were able to unpack and reassemble their top tier process into something they all were proud of, appropriately representing the PEAK6 name and their individual capabilities. Learning opportunities for the candidates, the business, and the team were all on the other side of this pivotal and collaborative effort and that is something Devin is truly proud he got to be a part of.
