Deitrick Franklin - Nominee for Career Catalyst Award - 2023 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

As Manager of Emerging Talent at Reddit, Deitrick leads a team of professionals who deliver efficient execution of the Fellowship, Internship, and New Graduate programs. Deitrick joined Reddit as a University Recruiting Program Manager (PM) who maintained the award-winning reputation of the internship program. Prior to Reddit, Deitrick worked as a University Recruiter at Lyft, before being promoted to a PM who oversaw the Apprenticeship, Internship, and New Grad programs. Ensuring that underrepresented communities in tech, particularly Black, Latinx, Women, and LGBTQ+, are represented in the global workforce of today is what drives Deitrick’s passion in this space.

"This year, I established a partnership with RippleMatch based on their ability to assist lean teams in scaling their recruitment efforts for Early/Emerging Talent. The candidate experience improved because we engaged qualified candidates faster and used data analytics to pivot our strategies in real time. Prior to this technology, our program used referrals and LinkedIn reach outs for recruiting, which limited representation within our pipeline. With RippleMatch, we expanded our reach through both in-person and virtual events, maintaining a strong and diverse candidate pipeline, which resulted in outstanding representation within the current intern class."
