David Freeman - Nominee for Talent Innovator Award - 2023 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

David is the University Recruiting and Relationship Manager at Ensign Bickford Industries. In his role at EBI, David developed and executes the campus recruiting strategy. He also leads the diversity and inclusion efforts within the campus recruiting pipeline. Prior to EBI, David was the University Relations Program Manager for General Atomics, an aeronautics and defense solutions company. He collaborated with business leaders and hiring managers to develop and drive company-wide intern programming, along with early career recruiting and retention. David holds an MBA from the University of Illinois and is an Olympian in the sport of Track and Field.

"I am passionate about our DE&I work within the early career talent space. We launched new partnerships with not only HBCUs, but with the NSBE and SWE national body organizations. I was appointed to the Advisory board of an HBCU College, and we became a Corporate Partner with the SWE National Organization to help support their mission and objectives. Our early career recruitment efforts are driven with DE&I in mind. I am able to leverage my own career journey and skillset in a way that resonates with potential diverse candidates."
