Early Career Program Manager

Danielle DeBenedetto is the Early Career Program Manager at Selective Insurance. In Danielle's role, she is a team of one and is responsible for all Early Career (Intern and Trainee) recruitment, designing and overseeing the Internship Program as well as University Relations. Danielle has been at Selective for over 5 years; she started as an Intern and was hired into their Corporate Trainee Program. From there, Danielle moved into the Talent Acquisition space where she eventually grew into her current role as an Early Career Program Manager. Danielle is passionate about early career talent, development and making connections.

Career Highlight

New to the Early Career Program Manager role, Danielle was tasked with several challenging responsibilities in the early career space. In an extremely competitive talent market, she was tasked with filling 80+ early career positions with less than a 4-6 month time to fill. In addition, she had to design and oversee an award-winning internship program. Danielle is also responsible for Selective's university relations strategy, which includes maintaining relationships with colleges and universities across the country. Lastly, Danielle is tasked with enhancing her company's early career strategy in order to attract and retain top-tier talent.
