Daniel Brown - Nominee for Talent Innovator Award

Daniel is a Early Careers Lead Sourcing Specialist at AMS on behalf of Rolls-Royce. In their role at Rolls-Royce, Daniel is responsible for finding high quality candidates within the fields of engineering, business and operations. He also hosts resume and interview skills workshops for candidates. Prior to their role at Rolls-Royce, Daniel did IT Recruitment at a Tier One Investment Bank. Daniel is passionate about candidates having an overall positive recruitment experience and helping to build and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Career Highlight

Daniel selected and pipelined high-quality candidates who were unsuccessful in previous applications and kept in contact with them until the next recruitment cycle. When the next cycle started, Daniel reached out to the candidates about opportunities relevant to their skills, interests and experiences; by inviting them to make an application. Out of those who applied and interviewed, 55% were given offers and 67% of these hires were diverse. Not only did this contribute to an inclusive and diverse workforce at Rolls-Royce, it also helped turn a candidate experience into a positive one.
