Please see below for the highlights of their approach to early career recruitment.
Multi-Faceted and Thoughtful Approach to University Recruitment
Credera believes in taking a people-first approach to the recruiting process. Providing this high-touch experience at the top of the funnel can be challenging with a large volume of candidates. However, the Credera team leveraged tools like RippleMatch, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and Calendly to source qualified candidates and intentionally connect each candidate with a Credera consultant for a one-on-one introductory chat. Students often met with an alum of their university who has experience in the role they were applying for. This strategy offered a personalized experience for each candidate, allowing them to grow their network and better understand consulting before committing to the recruiting process. These introductory chats were Credera's largest singular source of campus hires this fall, accounting for 17% of total offers extended.
Innovative Use of Technology
In addition to their Applicant Tracking System, Credera leverages tools like RippleMatch and LinkedIn Recruiter to source qualified candidates, Calendly to schedule ~1,000 interviews in a 6-week timeframe, and Gem for CRM and reporting purposes. This tech stack allows a lean team of five recruiters to complete tedious tasks efficiently, allowing them to spend more time providing an exceptional candidate experience. This fall, Credera implemented a new behavioral assessment tool that effectively replaced an entire virtual interview. This tool allowed Credera to be more objective in their decision making by leveraging technology to screen for core attributes and skills. Not only was there high trust in the evaluation of candidates, but Credera saved a considerable amount of time on interviews (over 500 hours).
Impactful Internship Program
Credera’s internship program allows students to immerse themselves in the boutique consulting world, fully understanding Credera’s culture, core values, and consulting engagements. Interns are treated as full-time employees and staffed on current projects, gaining real-world experience solving complex client challenges with a team of Credera consultants. They participate in community service opportunities, professional development sessions, all-hands meetings, and a version of Credera’s performance management process with their mentors. At the end of the summer, all interns gather in Dallas, TX for a two-day Leadership Develop Conference designed to provide interns with the tools, resources, and guidance to be successful in whatever career path they choose. Credera's program has been recognized in WayUp’s Top 100 Internship Programs three years in a row (2021, 2022, and 2023).
