Courtney Meloney is the Senior Manager for the Emerging Talent Experience Team at VMware. In her role, Courtney leads a team of exceptional Program Managers focused on providing an impactful experience to VMware’s global community of Interns, New Graduates, Early in Career and Non-Traditional hires. She drives innovation through the development and management of programs that differentiate VMware in the talent market. The Emerging Talent Experience team also creates and manages Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives such as VMware Scholarships and VMware CodeHouse. Courtney has been with VMware for 9+ years with deep experience in all things Emerging Talent. This includes recruitment, campus engagement and program management prior to her current leadership role.

Career Highlight

In 2020, Courtney led her team to pivot all intern and new graduate programming, events, and initiatives to a virtual format. As VMware was faced with a never-before-seen challenge, the team pushed forward to ensure the intern program and new grad programs not only continued to exist, but also offered an unparalleled virtual experience. Courtney worked directly alongside her team members and other key stakeholders to re-structure all aspects of these programs to ensure they were in compliance and still offered the employees a format to learn and grow at VMware. The virtual programming was a huge success, and with the future of work, VMware will now always have a hybrid model for interns and new grads to ensure our employees can work from anywhere.
