The University Recruiting at Citrix kicked off this past season by partnering with the Citrix Employee Resource Groups, which are self-organized, company-sponsored groups, focused on cultivating a sense of belonging and inclusion. The recruiting team hosted global remote learning sessions to allow students from anywhere to learn about Citrix. And a favorite Citrix outreach event this season focused on former Citrix Interns who transitioned to full-time Citrix employees after graduation, who were able to share personal stories of their Intern experience, offer tips about the job search process, as well as how to best navigate the major shift from school to a new career.

Crafting a Standout Candidate Experience

The focus on the candidate experience at Citrix begins before the interview, where they start with information sessions to share with students and recent graduates about #CitrixLife, career opportunities, and growth potential. Their job descriptions are clear and direct, and as part of the application process, candidates can check their status through a personalized candidate home portal, so they have easy access to regular application updates. While the initial stages of the application process are vital, another important part of ensuring a positive candidate experience is the onboarding and available resources. One of the most rewarding resources at Citrix is the global mentorship program.
