Chris Fitzpatrick - Nominee for Talent Innovator Award

Chris Fitzpatrick is the University Relations Manager at Crestron Electronics, as well as a professional public speaker, a below-average charity golfer, and an aspiring game show host. In addition his role overseeing Campus Relations and Crestron's industry-leading Internship and Co-Op Program, Chris leads efforts in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion space as well as Veteran Recruiting. Chris has enjoyed each of his nearly 15 years in Campus Recruiting. He often says he has the best job in the world because it gives him "a front row seat to the careers of hundreds of young professionals at the earliest stages."

Career Highlight

On Valentine's Day 2020, Chris knew exactly what the Summer 2020 Internship program would look like. By St. Patrick's Day 2020, everything was different. Over the next two months, Chris converted Crestron's entirely in-person intern program into a program that was 90% remote. During the Summer of 2020, Crestron welcomed its largest intern class in company history without rescinding a single offer due to COVID-19. In addition, several interns from the 2019 and 2020 programs received full-time offers and are now mentoring incoming 2021 interns.
