Chip Turrisi - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award - 2022 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Chip Turrisi joined Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, the largest distributor of wine and spirits in the US, in October 2020 and is currently their Early Career Manager based out of Miami, FL. He oversees the university recruiting efforts to hire over 200 students a year for internships and recent graduate positions in Sales, IT, Supply Chain, HR, and more. Previously, he led University Recruiting at Royal Caribbean Cruises in a similar capacity; responsible for internship recruitment and the internship program. Chip is most passionate about candidate experience, recruiting technology and workforce planning.

Career Highlight

Chip created a new standardized Workforce Planning process to secure headcount (intern / recent grads) a year in advance of the Early Career recruiting season, enabling the organization to plan & strategize most effectively and ensure SGWS is able to attract & retain the best, diverse pipeline of students. This process also ensures the Early Career team is has sufficient resources to recruit and has allowed our team to hire more team members and distribute the headcount across regions and functions.
