Carrie Haugen - Nominee for Career Catalyst Award - 2023 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Carrie is the Campus Recruitment Manager at Eide Bailly LLP. Carrie is responsible for overseeing a team of campus recruiters, driving the strategy for the firm’s intern programming and hiring, and developing new programs for students. She started her career at Eide Bailly in the tax department as an intern before discovering her passion for campus recruitment. She also created a six-month leadership program for female students to grow in their confidence, networking skills, and find mentorship. She has a passion for early career talent and helping students discover their potential through developmental work and internships.

Career Highlight

"Events have always been my passion – I believe an event can create lasting connections and that sometimes, casual is key. We’ve always participated in formal events at colleges, but last fall, we felt something more casual would be a better way to target students. I planned an event called 'Taco ‘Bout Accounting' that featured a taco bar, yard games, fun prizes, music, and taco-themed cookies. It was a casual night for students to get to know our staff and it led to an increase in applications because of relationships that had formed!"
