Career Highlight

Ahead of the last recruiting season, Carolynn led her team’s effort to launch FIGNITE, the company’s first week-long series of virtual events for 45 technical students from underrepresented backgrounds. Attendees participated in events ranging from learning how to use Figma & FigJam to technical interview workshops with engineers. Through these sessions, Figma was not only able to offer visibility into their technical interviews but also share a unique close-up of their products, values and people. Although the team didn't plan to tie any hiring goals to this program, the first FIGNITE was a huge success, leading to 6 participants that eventually went on to interview at Figma and accept intern and new grad offers for 2022.
