Carol Vella is the Director of Early Careers Talent Acquisition at Walmart. Carol leads the recruiting and Intern Program teams that support the entire enterprise. Prior to joining the Global Talent & Learning Team in August 2023, Carol has experience at Walmart in Marketing, Merchandising and DEI. She feels honored to support the best recruiters in the industry as they attract a group of future leaders that represent Walmart's customer base.
Career Highlight
"I have been incredibly proud of my team's relentless commitment to excellence and improving year-over-year. Our intern program will host ~750 in Bentonville, AR for Welcome Week and then the interns will be placed in a number of locations across the country. The team has refined the strategic focus to be 'Connection' and has found ways to bring that to life for those in home offices and the field. I am so proud that the team has incorporated a connection to personal wellness into our programming, aligning with our corporate focus on Wellbeing, through events at our gym, opportunities to connect with nature and time to rest & recharge. The program continues to get even better thanks to their innovative thinking focused around the intern experience."
