Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruitment
BHG has completely redesigned the recruitment strategy from top-to-bottom for the changing landscape. In line with BHG’s hybrid employment strategy, with a mix throughout the company of remote and in-person employees, it has taken a hybrid approach to recruitment. This hybrid approach includes participating in both in-person and remote career fairs and information sessions, along with remote interviewing and onboarding, to ensure consistency and accessibility for all candidates. The company has also invested in expanded marketing channels to ensure competitive candidates are aware of upcoming events, and commits to quick turnaround times as candidates move through the interview process.

Impactful Internship Program
At BHG, interns focus on meaningful, real-world projects with definitive impact. They are paired with senior mentors and participate in year-end presentations with senior executives. But it’s not all work – interns also get the opportunity to socialize through team building activities, as well as group service and community events. Interns are allowed to work out of a BHG office if they prefer an in-person environment. Feedback from the program consistently highlights the mentorship and growth opportunities, meaningful projects, and open, collaborative culture as reasons why the intern conversion rate continues to outperform its competitors.
Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent
BHG’s recruiting and interview process ensures that top talent is attracted to high-performing teams across the company. While the internship program recruits talent before they’ve graduated, BHG has additional programs for attracting newly-graduated and early-career individuals. Several leaders, including at the executive level, have nontraditional educational backgrounds, and that openness translates to a merit-based culture rather than one exclusively reliant on past academic accomplishments. One example of this unique recruiting strategy is the BHG Sales Academy, where candidates are given the opportunity to learn from world-class sales trainers and partner with senior sales staff in an intensive course, and upon graduation, join the award-winning sales team.
