Avery Lewis is a Senior Early Career Program Manager at American Family Insurance. In her role at American Family Insurance, Avery is responsible for the management of four Early Career Rotational Programs throughout the Enterprise. Initially, Avery joined American Family Insurance to professionalize their Enterprise Intern Program. Prior to these roles at American Family Insurance, Avery created and managed the Intern Program for North America at Halliburton. Avery’s most noted early career wins include, creating a top-notch fully furnished housing program, establishing engaging networking opportunities, and building solid relationships both with internal and external stakeholders. Avery is passionate about being part of the start of the interns' and rotational program participants' careers

Career Highlight

One of Avery’s proudest moments in her career was the creation of a top-notch fully furnished intern housing program. The employee experience is critical in the University recruiting space. Their experience shapes the types of student and campus ambassadors they become for our companies. It was critical to provide this turnkey, fully furnished, housing to further enhance their experience while in program. Avery was tasked with securing housing for over 250 interns throughout North America, some in very rural places. She interviewed many vendors and landed the perfect match. Selling the cost of the program to the executives was challenging, but Avery was able to provide data from surveys on what was being done, how it was not working, and why the implementation of this program would have long-pasting positive effects. The program was a success and increased the satisfaction survey results.
