Ashley Taylor - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award - 2022 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Ashley Taylor has assisted with campus recruiting since beginning her career at Jackson Thornton (JT) in 2008. Her efforts included participating in a variety of recruiting events and serving as an ally to newly hired staff. In 2019, she took over as Director of Campus Recruiting for the firm. Taylor’s passion lies in introducing students to the culture at JT. JT has something special, and Taylor knows when recruits meet the people who make up the firm, they’ll want to call JT home, too. She is a graduate of the Torchbearers Leadership Class IV, Leadership Montgomery’s Legacy Class XXXVII, and serves on the Board of the Kiwanis Club. Taylor was named as Emerge Montgomery’s 2015 YP of the Year and recognized as Auburn University Montgomery's Outstanding Young Alumni in 2017.

Career Highlight

JT’s largest recruiting event was postponed from May 2020 to August 2020, assuming the country would have recovered from the pandemic by then. As we all know now, the conditions were not ideal to host a large event in August 2020. However with COVID numbers in the Southeast down overall, Taylor took a risk and hosted a scaled-back, live event with more safety protocols in place than one could imagine. The event was a hit! The students were so thankful to be meeting in person. They were as tired of virtual recruiting as much as everyone else. From that event, Taylor was able to offer all of the firm’s internships for the coming year. Those interns will soon come back to work full-time and they still rave about their experience at the only live event they attended in 2020.
