Ashley Scott University Recruiting Lead, IMC Trading
Ashley Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She began working in the quant trading industry in 2010 and joined IMC’s recruiting team in 2012. She currently leads the university recruiting team responsible for all graduate and intern hiring in the US. She is active in URx, a community of passionate recruiters and developers of early career talent and also serves on the board of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
Career Highlight
When the team's hiring targets came in much higher than they expected, Ashley and team immediately began brainstorming how they could quickly grow capacity within the team in order to recruit all the individuals in order to facilitate the expansion of the business. The team got creative and enlisted the help of a RPO (recruiting process outsource) to help with top of the funnel filtering and ensure a great candidate experience so that the senior members of the recruiting team could spend the majority of their time strategizing on attracting, selecting and closing top talent.
