Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruitment
Aptiv targets schools with creative and innovative students. Aptiv has dedicated campus teams with employees all over the company to attend virtual and in-person fairs, events, and networking sessions. Aptiv attended both virtual and in-person events with the campus teams to provide a personable and unique experience. This expierence is used to create a pipeline of students, continuing the personable experience with direct interactions with recruiters. From start to finish, Aptiv ensures a great early career candidate expierence.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Aptiv partners with well-known organizations that support DE&I initiatives like SWE, SHPE, Grace Hopper and HBCU schools. Aptiv ensures that all students have the opportunity to meet with the campus team and students are given a great experience while doing so. Not only does Aptiv work with these organizations, but Aptiv does its best to ensure the experience is carried out throughout the internship, and offers support and resources for the candidates. In addition, Aptiv offers DE&I panels to help strengthen and build relationships and connections throughout the internship program.
Impactful Internship Program
Interns can see game-changing ideas turn into reality, all while working alongside some of the best and brightest engineers in the field. During Aptiv’s summer internship program, interns spend an average of 10 to 12 weeks being a tech-forward and innovative thinker, assigned to meaningful and impactful projects. Interns are integrated into teams and take ownership in the projects they create. Aptiv offers a developmental program for a reason, with resources for interviewing and resume help, executive exposure, financial advice, and much more. Aptiv also cares greatly about volunteerism, and interns have the opportunity in the summer to participate in those events. Outside of work, Aptiv also offers fun, with interns having the opportunity to attend team outings and events.
Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent
Aptiv has a dedicated onboarding team that ensures new employees are set up for success the first day they are with Aptiv. Interns are also met with the support and mentorship of their team, so the transition is easy from intern to a new hire.
