3rd Place Winner of The Exceptional Leader Award

This award honors senior leaders who are championing the future of early career hiring within their organizations. These individuals are making the case for investing in Gen Z talent, guiding their teams through transformation, and aligning leadership around the importance of connecting with the next generation. They are bold advocates for candidate experience, early talent strategy, and using innovative approaches to close the gap between what Gen Z candidates expect and how companies show up.

From the Community: Why this Winner Stands Out

To be considered for the CRCAs, individuals had to be nominated by a peer, manager, colleague, or direct report. These quotes were shared by the people who nominated this person for recognition, highlighting the impact and excellence they’ve demonstrated.

“Aneet has over 18 years of early career talent experience. She has experience in designing and scaling programs across the US, APAC, and EMEA. I have had the privilege of managing her at 2 different companies. At both companies she has made the case for investing in early career talent and helping leaders understand the importance of connecting with the next generation.

She is innovative and strategic. She has created programs that have significantly increased diverse representation of intern and analyst classes, e.g. launching Visa's first women hackathon in India. She has championed and led the implementation of tools & technology that improved our brand outreach and drive recruiter efficiency. She's leveraged data analytics to optimize our early career recruiting strategies and processes. At BNY she has resigned the end-to-end candidate experience from website updates, social media engagement and specialized assessment frameworks.

Aneet has led her teams through various transformations such as pivoting during Covid and establishing the new norms in a post Covid world. She led them through building Visa's first development center in India, (when we were re-imaging our strategic location strategy). At BNY she helped led them through building an AI/ML internship program when the business started to delve into the world of AI and wasn't sure how to attract and hire these students. She is a compassionate leader who deeply cares for her people and has consistently invested and developed them - helping them achieve their career goals.

The business leaders she works with enjoy working with her due to her strategic, data driven approach - she focuses on understanding the business needs and consistently delivers even in the toughest of circumstances - whether it's increased gender representation in India or creating an early career strategy for a part of the business that never had interns.
She is recognized by the stakeholders and peers as being a true SME in the space. She stays abreast of the latest trends and data ensuring she is up to speed. She has spoken at different university recruiting events due to her expertise.

She's a consummate professional, humble and hardworking. She has dedicated herself and her career to this field. I can't think of a more deserving person.”

“One of my greatest memories of being led by Aneet Kaur is when we successfully pulled-
off a week-long campus takeover at an HBCU. We were looking for new ways to engage best-in-class talent, ways that would help us stand out from our peers while communicating a genuine interest and investment in the students we were seeking to attract and develop. As our Global Diversity Lead, Aneet tapped me to make it happen. Leveraging my close relationship with one of my target schools, NC A&T, I floated the idea by my point-of-contact at the School of Engineering and we were off to the races. Only thing was, we had to build an experience that convinced our technology leaders, our marketing team, our counter-part recruiters, and the NCAT family, was worth their time and investment. Aneet not only coached me through structuring our week-long experience and encouraged all my ideas (none was too small), she went to bat for me at every stage. Needed a head of an organization to join me in overseeing a case study? She secured that using her internal global network. Needed extra money? She helped negotiate with our marketing team to secure funds beyond our reach and made our brand boom! Needed further support? Aneet flew out to this and other major events when needed not to micro-manage but to infuse each experience with her presence and her leadership. This experience lived on to be one of the top in my career.”
