Aneesa Bey - Nominee for Rising Star Award

Aneesa is a University Relations Coordinator at CSL Behring. In her role at CSL Behring, Aneesa is responsible for managing the co-op program, promoting the employer brand, and connecting with talented students to build a strong early-career pipeline. Prior to her role at CSL Behring, Aneesa supported graduate and undergraduate students in the Chemistry Department at the University of Connecticut. Aneesa is driven by the desire to connect students with their dream careers and is passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive hiring process.

Career Highlight

Faced with a pandemic, CSL Behring had to decide how to pivot to safely and effectively deliver their Summer 2020 internship and co-op programs. Aneesa partnered with colleagues to conduct a feasibility survey, develop a virtual toolkit for managers, and transition all in-person activities to a virtual format. Thanks to these actions, CSL Behring successfully hosted one of its largest cohorts of students. The new program included weekly virtual check-ins, a week-long celebration of early career talent, and monthly professional development workshops.
