Career Highlight

In 2020, when COVID-19 hit, UHG was fortunate enough to be in a position as a company to continue to hire interns. They made the decision to hire an additional 100 interns that had lost their internships with a different organization due to COVID-19. Working with recruiters, HBCU partnerships, and connecting with candidates directly, the team was able to meet that goal! Needless to say, hiring 100 candidates within a 3 week time span was a lot of work. This initiative was incredibly rewarding for Andrew to be a part of, because all of these candidates would not have had an internship otherwise.
