Demonstrated Investment in Early Career Hiring

Analog Devices is committed to investing in its people and their growth. One way it can do this is by establishing a cutting-edge Entry-Level Hiring program. This program features high-impact professional development, opportunities to drive meaningful projects that are directly tied to business goals, and unique executive exposure. Analog Devices’ duty is to develop the next generation of talent in its communities and provide them with a pathway to apply their academic skills in the real-world. At ADI, early career hires will learn from the brightest minds who are dedicated to their growth, development, and success. From an industry perspective, incoming new career hires are surrounded by employees that represent the best of the best minds in their respective fields. ADI knows that its entry-level talent is the pipeline to future success in the industry and amongst its office walls.

Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruitment

ADI takes a holistic approach when it comes to recruiting. When it gears up for recruiting seasons, not only are managers that sign up for virtual or in-person fairs attending to fill their full-time and intern reqs, but they are well equipped with the information to find talent company-wide. ADI also hosts information sessions on campus, speaks in classrooms, and hosts tech talks to diversify the avenues when it comes to reaching out to students. ADI also found a way to partner with diversity clubs on campuses, IEEE groups, and build relationships with professors. ADI also hosts resume and LinkedIn building workshops and tech talks.

Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

ADI is dedicated to strengthening and building relationships with SWE, SHPE, NSBE, and other DEI groups on campuses throughout the US. ADI is also in the works of providing scholarships to different diversity groups on college campuses, and plans to present those scholarships at their end-of-year banquets. ADI will continue to host resume-building, LinkedIn, and tech talks to students, and has an initiative titled 'Expanding the ADI Fanbase at X School' in hopes of creating more partnerships amongst students and reaching its DEI goals. ADI is working with DEI leads and Department Engineering heads to expand its outreach as well.

Impactful Internship Program

The summer internship experience at ADI allows a diverse group of developing professionals to not only collaborate, but to develop into a growing intern community fostered through various intern events. The program also sets a foundation for students to learn about the differing responsibilities and roles of business units within the organization. This cross-collaboration is nurtured through a mix of laid back and professional development opportunities that are planned on a bi-weekly basis to ensure a multitude of different skills develop, alongside the main capabilities the interns are expected to perform. ADI’s mission is to convert 70%+ of interns at the end of each summer. One differentiator of ADI’s program is the opportunity for interns to give back to the community through collaboration with the ADI Foundation by working on the Intern Impact Project.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

All entry-level hires are invited to attend a New College Graduate Orientation. This 3-day orientation is jam-packed with networking and development events. The impact this event alone makes is huge — it affords hires the opportunity to meet ADI leaders, build connections, and establish long-lasting work relationships. Managers are also in the loop and encourage their hires to attend. The final day of this orientation includes a demo-day and a breakout day where folks can learn straight from their leadership. The Young Professionals Network is also another great way to retain ADI talent, as the group hosts networking events and also development speakers throughout the year. New career hires are also invited after their first year to help plan the next Orientation and they are also invited to help recruit at career fairs in a year's time. This allows hires to feel part of adding talent and value to the company.
