Nominated For: The Talent Innovator Award

This award recognizes the experienced early career professionals who are reimagining how companies connect with Gen Z talent. They challenge traditional thinking by introducing new strategies, platforms, and touchpoints to meet students where they’re at. Whether through technology, storytelling, or community-building, they’re closing the gap between how recruiting has always been done—and how it needs to evolve.

From the Community: Why this Nominee Stands Out

To be considered for the CRCAs, individuals had to be nominated by a peer, manager, colleague, or direct report. This quote was shared by the person who nominated this person for recognition, highlighting the impact and excellence they’ve demonstrated.

“Amy runs and is the direct hiring manager fothat r our control management early careers program It’s a 2 year rotational program so this summer she will have 1st years joining, 2nd years startng new rotations and interns in 5 different cities. This past year we saw a growing trend where students were using the interview process to learn about the role. Some in the end did accept whereas other discovered during tat process this was not the role for them. This lowered our acceptance rate but more importantly took interview space away from students that had done their research and were genuinely interested in a career in this space. As a trial to help give students a taste of what people in control management and risk roles do, she Partnered with the University of Minnesota and created the Control the Chaos Case Competition. To continue to make this a learning experience she created a cap stone team of our first year analyst to come up with the case and to create the marketing plan strategy. They had to navigate approvals through legal (both external and internal), communications, early careers, content teams, and the university. In the end the team launched the case anticipating 24 sophomores would sign up…..within a few days the team had 47 of which 38 came to participated in our Minneapolis office and they were able to crown the first winning team. But everyone won here…all the students got to interact with leadership, get real feedback on their presentations, teamwork, solutions; the university found a partner in executing real life experiences, and wells fargo leadership has asked one question: how many schools can we do this at next year?”
