Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruitment

The university recruiting team at Amplitude is continually growing in creativity in their recruitment strategies. By adopting a hybrid recruitment approach, Amplitude's team has crafted a diverse set of virtual and in-person events, ranging from smaller intimate gatherings with student organizations on campus and at HBCUs, as well as prioritizing larger conference presences like AfroTech and Rewriting the Code. Once students enter the pipeline, Amplitude prioritizes candidate experience by offering interview prep sessions and are available for questions at every step of the process.

Impactful Internship Program

At Amplitude, interns are empowered with impactful projects that they are able to see from ideation to creation, regardless of the business function. As a hybrid internship program, interns have the opportunity to work in-person with seasoned professionals and mentors, while still having flexible work-schedules, leaving time for plenty of community building and collaboration. Interns also have the opportunity to engage and learn from company executives, have ERGs present lecture series dedicated to their professional development, and present in a final intern presentation where they discuss the impact their work had on the business. Beyond learning and development, Amplitude's intern program has boba mixers, karaoke nights, and the opportunity to really engage with their fellow intern cohort. These components are why Amplitude's offer acceptance rate after internship is over 80%.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

Amplitude goes above and beyond to ensure full-time hires are set up for success — beginning with a robust onboarding experience and onboarding buddies’ support. Within the first six months, new hires will be offered the opportunity to join an extensive mentorship program, as well as regular check-in and career development conversations with their manager.
