Amanda is the University Recruiting Lead at Roku! In their role at Roku, Amanda is responsible for engaging, hiring and retaining top emerging talent. Prior to their role at Roku, Amanda, was responsible for diversity recruiting and employee retention at another tech company. Amanda is passionate about finding ways to ensure all students of different backgrounds, races, experiences and studies have the opportunity to show up to work as their most authentic selves each and everyday. And to remind young professionals that they have all the magic and wisdom to be any and everything they hope to become.

Career Highlight

Amanda, spearheaded by her manager Lauren Berger, established Roku's first-ever intern specific hiring program - The Rising Streamers. Additionally, this was the first bulk-hiring effort of over 100 interns Roku has ever had. These efforts made for the most diverse and largest emerging talent hiring ever! Given the success of the program from Summer 2021, the team almost doubled their hiring for Summer 2022 with over 155 interns joining the team in the coming weeks. With students joining from over 50 colleges and universities across the country, the magic is just starting, and the team cannot wait to continue to grow and provide opportunities to the most diverse, brightest and best talent across our country.
