Alteryx's Early Career team continues to hire individuals across the country and hosts programs, both for interns and entry-level hires, that empower and invest in early talent. From its DEIB recruiting strategies to its programs focused on learning & development, Alteryx is excited to continue building and expand these programs.

Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruitment

The Early Career Team at Alteryx has created a standout recruiting experience for the next generation of talent. With a school-agnostic strategy and hybrid program, the team is able to bring in individuals from various backgrounds and lived experiences from across the country, with over 70+ educational institutions represented in 2022. The team was able to accomplish this by having 'Program Guide' sites that are filled with everything candidates need to know about the recruiting process, hosting Alteryx Open House events so candidates can learn about opportunities across different teams, offering ‘Recruiter Office Hours’ where they can connect 1:1 with a recruiter even before they apply to get questions answered, and providing a high-touch candidate experience.

One of Alteryx’s core values is equality, which means it’s present in everything it does, from recruiting to onboarding to the employee experience. When hiring, Alteryx strives to provide equal opportunities to people of different identities, backgrounds, and experiences. That is why the Early Career team is so passionate about ensuring it is meeting candidates where they are at, instead of vice versa, through things like the school-agonist approach. During the programs, interns and new grads will continue to get support through mentors, exposure to employee resources groups, development workshops, and a speaker series.

Impactful Internship Program

Alteryx's internship program is intentionally designed around the company's core value of equality. This value guides the company in the way it recruits, how it onboards its next leaders, the partners it engages, and the experiences it offers to different student personas. The internship experience is focused on three main components: growth & development, social & community building, and giving back to communities. Interns joining Alteryx will get recycled and eco-friendly swag, the chance to attend the Next Leaders Retreat hosted at the Irvine headquarters, executive exposure, cross-functional buddies, paid volunteer hours, project ownership, and mentorship.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

Alteryx continues to go the extra mile when investing in early talent, which goes beyond the internship experience. Starting with a robust onboarding experience within specific teams through to their New Hire Connect, where they will get the chance to learn about the company's past, present, and future. New hires are given access to emerging leaders program trainings, development webinars, employee resources groups, Ask Me Anything sessions hosted by executives, social events, and much more in order to set them up for long-term success.
