Alexa Friedman University Recruiting Manager, Databricks
Alexa Friedman manages the University Recruiting team at Databricks. Her team manages all hiring and programs for interns and new grads, helping create a great experience for early talent at Databricks. Prior to Databricks, Alexa worked in University Recruiting at MuleSoft and in higher education as a career and academic advisor for college students. She is excited about building programs that welcome everyone to do their best work as they learn and grow in their careers!
Career Highlight
Alexa and team are passionate about building lasting relationships and supporting students throughout their job search process. When Alexa met a candidate on campus in the fall of 2018, she coached her through her interview process and was a resource throughout her offer decision timeline. The candidate decided to go elsewhere, but when Covid hit and that company had to rescind her offer, that candidate was already connected and Alexa was able to re-issue an offer and get her on board within a couple of days. Alexa is proud to lead a team with strong relationships at the center.
