Alex Jorge - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award - 2022 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Alex Jorge is the Global University Recruiting Manager at Motional, a leader in driverless technology. Alex is responsible for leading the global university recruiting function where he guides a team of recruiters to execute hiring hundreds of interns every year across various functions.
He is also responsible for intern program initiatives, strategic partnerships, and growing Motional’s presence at universities. Alex takes a data-driven approach to help teams understand the value of an intern program and partners with them to find the best talent for their needs. Prior to Alex’s role at Motional, he led the intern programs at iRobot & PTC.

Career Highlight

Over Alex’s career he has been very proud to increase both PTC and iRobot’s intern programs to have over 50% of the intern population be under-represented minorities and/or women. Being a first-generation American, he understands finding internships can be particularly difficult for students without established family networks and looks for ways to help students with their job searches. Since joining Motional in 2021, Alex and his team have increased the diverse population of the global intern program by over 10 percent.
