Alessandra is the Head of University Relations at Novartis US. In her role, Alessandra develops, implements and drives an inclusive and innovative end-to-end University Relations strategy for early talent. Prior to her role at Novartis, she served as Senior Associate Director for Employer Relations at the MIT Sloan School of Management where she was responsible for implementing and driving strategies to provide high-touch recruiting services for all students while providing team management, coaching and operational leadership. Alessandra is passionate about career development, cultivating meaningful relationships with diverse students and employers and developing inclusive services and avenues to create employment opportunities and successful partnerships between them.

Career Highlight

During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alessandra was tasked with developing the first-ever virtual summer internship program at Novartis and crafting a robust series of career and professional development programs for over 120 interns. Alessandra successfully delivered an engaging virtual events strategy including weekly lunch-and-learns series, career panels and coffee chats. These inclusive events created a strong sense of belonging for all candidates and allowed them to be fully integrated into the organizational culture while building valuable relationships with their teams and senior leadership.
