Adriana Durante is the University Recruiting Manager at the workforce platform, Rippling. She was hired to build a net-new early talent program when she joined in March 2021, and has since scaled the program 6x and now leads a team of four. Prior to her joining Rippling, Adriana was at Slack for five years where she played an integral role in building and scaling the intern program. Adriana is passionate about creating opportunities for students looking to tap into the tech space, and continuously looks for ways to bridge the gap in racial and gender disparities by making sure processes and programs put in place are inclusive and equitable.

Career Highlight

A net-new program can be challenging to build without a strategic framework of the program and support from leadership. In her first 30 days, Adriana focused on creating a contingency plan of what needed to happen and who needed to buy into the plan before officially rolling out the program. Adriana officially launched the formalized intern program in Fall 2021 where she managed a small program with five remote interns. In 2022, Rippling will be hosting 34 hybrid and remote interns, and is planning to scale the program year-over-year.
